Outfit: Bandana love.

Gypsiana dress: Spell Designs || Necklaces: Dixi & Forever 21 || Belt: Miss Selfridge || Boots: Urban Outfitters

Weekend is just around the corner, hope you all have a great and not too stressful week behind you! Today I show you this beautiful bandana print inspired dress by Spell Designs. I fell in love with this beautiful bright red color and its cute print. It fits like a slightly oversized boyfriend shirt, it's so amazing! I love the fact that the whole front can be buttoned up or left open, so you can wear it as a jacket aswell. Most shirt dresses I saw in stores only got half of the front buttoned up which isn't that versatile or figure-flattering. This dress in general is the perfect mixture of Rock 'n' Roll & boho and I can imagine any better dresses than Spell dresses for the really hot sunny summer weather (wearing longsleeved rayon dresses is the perfect solution when you don't want to renew your sunscreen every freakin' 60 minutes!:D). I love wearing it with my favorite western belt which gives shape to the body silhouette. Red is one of those colors I really love to wear especially in summer, it always attracts attention. Furthermore I combined it with some tribal jewelry and my western boots.

ONE MAN AND SOMEBODY ELSE'S DOG

I used to think, from what I saw as I walked the streets of Los Angeles, that this place must have more dogs per capita than any city in the world.  This, I now know, is not true.  It doesn’t even seem to be the dog capital of the west coast.  It’s hard to find exact data – googling tends to turn up “dog friendly cities” rather than actual numbers - but it seems definitely not to be LA – San Diego and Portland look like much better bets.  San Francisco supposedly has more dogs than children.

Of course all these need walking – some a lot more than others, obviously - and (and again I don’t have hard data) as I walk the streets it does seem to me that Los Angeles must have more professional dog walkers per capita than any city in the world. Angelinos don’t want to walk their own dogs any more than they want to tend their own gardens or clean their own swimming pools.

Last week for instance I found this thing stuck on my mail box:

I have no idea if it’s genuine.  Do parents really allow children to do this kind of thing?  More to the point – do eleven year olds really expect to earn 10 dollars an hour?  That’s more than minimum wage!

But my favorite flyer, one that turns up stuck to lamps posts and telegraph poles, around the neighborhood, is this one from Rocket Dog Walking:

I love the picture but somehow I don’t feel that the actual guy who turns up to walk your hound could possibly live up to the picture.

But here in last Sundays’ New York Post is one of the best dog-walking related headlines I’ve ever seen, possibly the best ever:

Since it’s in the Post it may not be strictly accurate, but still ...  We're all accustomed to Faustian bargains, but selling your soul is one thing, selling somebody else's dog is quite another.

Outfit: I am lost right now as the ocean deep.

Printed Blouse: Mango || Bandit shorts in fox: One Teaspoon || Boots: Ash || Necklace: Vintage via etsy

Here is probably the best blouse I've ever purchased, I don't know how it could get any better. It got the perfect muted colors, a beautiful 70s inspired boho print AND it's silky which is my favorite part! Lately I set my heart on shiny, silky and satin fabrics. They look amazing! Every time I'm wearing this blouse I feel like a rockstar from the 70s who's just about to hit the stage haha. I wanted the outfit to be dark but still casual and cool without being too dressy so I went for my favorite black denim shorts and my studded biker boots. It's almost a whole silver+black combo with a burgundy highlight.
I don't own that many blouses, because usually I prefer wearing tees or crop tops. But they're an awesome solution for summer when you can wear them with shorts (skirts look a bit too dressy for my taste) or ripped denim jeans.

For the title I chose lyrics from the song "Pittsburgh" by The Amity Affliction. It's one of those songs which break your heart in thousands of pieces, but in the same moment they stitch everything together again. This song makes me almost cry and feel understood, I guess it was love at first listen. If you're into Metalcore/Hardcore and rock music in general, you really should check it out. :-)

Inspiration: Mid-week wanderlust.

"So, when I leave will you come with me?
We can laugh for eternity
Get lost in new memories
And now we can change the world
And we’ll never feel alone
We could just chase the sun
Or we can go anywhere
Anywhere but home
This love is where we belong."

Outfit: FinD Me.

Holographic print jacket: Mr. Gugu || Pom pom shorts & Necklace: H&M || Crochet hem crop top: Urban Outfitters || Boots: Vagabond

Finally I can show you this beautiful jacket from Mr. Gugu, it's one of my coolest jackets I have in my wardrobe. It got that amazing print and it's incredibly soft. I love that it's college jacket inspired, I think everyone has owned at least one in life. The jackets from Mr. Gugu are definitely different to the usual ones because of their crazy and extraordinary prints. There are so many different versions, but I set my heart on this holographic one. It goes with practically everything and can be dressed up or down depending on what you had planned. Btw I went for a size up - I usually do this when ordering or buying jackets, so it looks more casual and comfy.
I wanted the rest of the outfit simple, so I went for a black combo which could have been a twinset at first look. I bought the crochet hem crop top more than one year ago, but I love to wear it together with my new fringed jacquard shorts I purchased on the H&M website three weeks ago. They're even more comfortable than my denim shorts. :-)

For the title I chose the song "FinD Me" by Marshmello, he's a newcomer to the EDM scene and nobody really knows who marshmello actually is. I think it's irrelevant, it's about the music and marshmello is freakin' good at it. Furthermore marshmello creates the cutest cover artwork and beautiful summer beats which can only make you happy. :-)

Have a beautiful week, babes! x
