According to 'Deadline' definitely one of our most anticipated future period set adaptations MY COUSIN RACHEL has just added GOT star Iain Glen and Simon Russell Beale to the cast lead by Rachel Weisz, Sam Claflin and Holliday Grainger! NOTTING HILL's Roger Michell is directing.

PERIOD SET DRAMA 
Daphne Du Maurier's dark romance revolves around Philip, a young orphan, who believes his mysterious, beautiful cousin Rachel may have been responsible for the murder of his beloved guardian Ambrose, also a cousin of theirs. As Philip plots his revenge, he finds his feelings complicated as he falls under Rachel’s beguiling spell.

JOINS 'BABY DADDY' SITCOM
Not much in today's television news except an info coming from America's favourite and most watched Wednesday sitcom BABY DADDY which will see TELENOVELA's super dashing star Jose Moreno Brooks guest starring in a number of episodes this season! He will be playing Roger, a handsome, enthusiastic though somewhat awkward paralegal who is the assistant to Riley (Chelsea Kane). Jean Luc Bilodeau, Derek Theler and Tahj Mowry star along with Kane in the FreeForm series which follows a young single father raising his baby daughter with his friends, mother and brother.

'NEW ADVENTURES OF ALADDIN'

In the trailer department, here is something currently playing in cinemas around Europe and Asia, a hilarious French epic oriental comedy parody THE NEW ADVENTURES OF ALADDIN starring Kev Adams as Aladin, Jean Paul Rouve as the grand Vizier and Vanessa Guide as princess Shalia Sofia.  It follows a pair of losers working at department store who plan to rob the place after it closes. When a bunch of kids show up begging for a story, the men launch into an improvised version of Aladdin.

And then there were these 5000 people in Tokyo at the end of 2015:

At 8 am on November 16^th an overhead cable broke on the Japan Railways Kobe Line between Kobe and Motomachi Stations.  The train service was suspended while a repair crew got to work, and 5,000 or so passengers had to leave the train, and walk along the tracks to the nearest station.

They weren’t in danger, but even so it’s hard to imagine the commuters of most nations remaining so calm, and obeying instructions, and walking in single-file.  And at some point an employee of Japan Railways arrived, to apologize and give a bottle of tea to each person who walked by.  He opened the bottles for them.  I’m not sure why I find this so moving, but I do.

While Disney is preparing their own live action version on the same fairy tale, another live action adaptation of A LITTLE MERMAID has just cast ROYALS star William Moseley as the lead actor next to Shirley MacLaine. It will follow Elle (Loreto Peralta), a young orphan who discovers a beautiful and enchanting creature (Poppy Drayton who was painfully bad in SHANNARA) she believes to be the real “Little Mermaid.” Moseley is Cam Harrison, Elle’s overprotective older brother who has come to the U.S. to live after the deaths of her parents. A newspaperman, he is sent to a small Mississippi town on an assignment to find out more about some mysterious healing waters and ends up learning more than he ever imagined about the power of love, belief and magic, both light and dark.

SEA CHARACTERS REVEALED!

Now, here's some animated delight for you today: Pixar has released first images of new sea creatures that will appear in their FINDING DORY sequel swimming into theatres June 17th! Crazy new characters include a pair of sea lions (voiced by Dominic West and Idris Elba), Rudder and Fluke who sound like East London gangsters; Jenny and Charlie, Dory's parents (Diane Keaton and Eugene Levy), Bailey the beluga whale (Ty Burrell), a cranky octopus named Hank (Ed O'Neill) and a whale shark named Destiny (Kaitlin Olson). There are also ocean loons and otters who don't speak but appear with their own shenanigans like seagulls in the first movie.

SEARCH FOR FAMILY 
The story of FINDING DORY moves to the West Coast, as Dory (Ellen DeGeneres) starts to remember who her parents are, which sets her off on a journey to Monterey, California to track them down. She arrives at the Monterey Marine Life Institute, where she meets Bailey, a white beluga whale; Destiny, a whale shark and Hank, an octopus, who becomes her guide. The friendly but forgetful blue tang fish reunites with her loved ones, and everyone learns a few things about the real meaning of family along the way.

I haven't posted a look with a cardigan for quite a while lately, so finally here's one of my cozy looks just right in time for the spring awakening. I got this comfy chevron cardigan from Romwe the other day, I liked its oversized fit at the first time I saw it - it's actually pretty vintage inspired, too. I guess here I went for a 70s boho/ 90s grunge mixture which I enjoy putting together!  I'm wearing one of my band tees from The Doors (one of my ALL time favorite bands!) and some fringed black jaquard shorts I got at H&M last year. I love wearing them with black printed tees and tights like I did here. This time I went for my fishnet tights again, because frankly the weather isn't as chilled cold as it was in the past month and they simply match the whole look. I picked my most colorful Kuchi tribal necklace which adds some popping highlight to the look and - of course - my beloved silver rings and tribal bracelets.

We're going British today, since ITV has released clips for two of their new series! Following the success of series one of HOME FIRES, Samantha Bond and Francesca Annis are reunited with the impressive ensemble cast including Ruth Gemmell, Claire Rushbrook, Ed Stoppard, Chris Coghill, Clare Calbraith, Fenella Woolgar, Mark Bazeley, Mike Noble and Daniel Ryan in HOME FIRES 2nd season which starts April 3rd in UK and later in USA at Masterpiece.

Meanwhile, ITV has also offered us a very short glimpse into another historical saga coming to us this year. Jenna Coleman's VICTORIA  an eight part mini-series, focusing on the early life of ruthless British enslaver and tyrant Queen Victoria, from her ascension to the throne at the tender age of 18, through to her courtship and marriage to Prince Albert. Rufus Sewell also appears in the short teaser as Lord Meloburne, her trusted advisor and first prime minister.

Sometimes you find the perfect vintage looking dresses at high street fashion stores and when they are on sale it's even 100 times better - that happened to me when I found this amazing dress while shopping at Zara during the AW season sale time. It got that beautiful, bright floral print in warm orange- and mustard colors striking on the black ground. It looks like it would come straight from the 70s, it's simply fits perfectly to my wardrobe. It also got a nice skater-style fit, long-sleeves (I love long-sleeved dresses - I hardly wear strappy or t-shirt style ones - long sleeves are my favorites!) and a high neck which makes it even more looking like a vintage piece you had found in a thrift shop.

I combined it with my double buckled western belt which adds a nice silhouette to dresses and my brown faux fur vest I bought at H&M around 5 years ago - it's still a favorite layering piece. Vests always go with everything every time, they will make every outfit look more unique and on top of that they mostly keep you warm, too.
