To end the week of epic delights, today you can enjoy magnificent new posters for next month's biggest epic adventure HUNTSMAN: WINTER'S WAR the prequel to the SNOW WHITE movie which luckily has no Snow White this time :) Starring Emily Blunt, Charlize Theron and Chris Hemsworth with Sam Claflin as King William the movie is out April 22nd in USA and April 4th in Europe!

Long before the evil Queen Ravenna (Charlize Theron) was thought vanquished by Snow White's blade, she watched silently as her sister, Freya (Emily Blunt), suffered a heartbreaking betrayal and fled their kingdom. With Freya's ability to freeze any enemy, the young ice queen has spent decades in a remote wintry palace raising a legion of deadly huntsmen, including Eric (Chris Hemsworth) and warrior Sara (Jessica Chastain). Only now she has found that her prized two have defied her one demand: Forever harden your hearts to love. When Freya learns of her sister's demise, she summons her remaining soldiers to bring the Magic Mirror home to the only sorceress left who can harness its power. But once she discovers Ravenna can be resurrected from its golden depths, the wicked sisters threaten this enchanted land with twice the darkest force it's ever seen. Seeing the magical costume that Queen Ravenna and Ice Queen Freya are wearing in the trailers, you can expect an award winning costume designer behind all the fantastic gowns and crowns: three times Oscar winner Colleen Atwood is behind all of the outfits including Freya's mindblowing silver armour that she wears while riding into battle on her snow warbear! MERLIN's superstar Colin Morgan appears also in the movie as Duke of Blackwood! There will be female dwarves this time as well played by British actresses Sheridan Smith and Alexandra Roach. STARZ' 'OUTLANDER' 

OPENS 2ND SEASON IN APRIL

Speaking of epic things, Starz has announced today that one of their most popular shows OUTLANDER will return with the second season on Saturday April 9th! Based on Diana Gabaldon's second book from OUTLANDER saga 'Dragonfly In Amber' the 13 episode season will see Scottish warrior Jamie Fraser (Sam Heughan) and his adulteress wife Claire (Caitriona Balfe) rocking some lavish French fashion as you can see them on the steps of the royal court in Versailles in the first promo poster! Instead of swords and guns, they’re armed with political savvy in the 1700s Paris as they embark on their new mission: infiltrating the French aristocracy and rewriting history after they arrive in France, hellbent on infiltrating the Jacobite rebellion led by Prince Charles Stuart, and stopping the battle of Culloden.

In today's television news, a casting info from Starz where they're turning Neil Gaiman's AMERICAN GODS into a TV series. The first to join the cast is THE 100 star Ricky Whittle set to play Shadow Moon! The story depicts a war brewing between old and new gods: the traditional gods of mythological roots from around the world steadily losing believers to an upstart pantheon of gods reflecting society’s modern love of money, technology, media, celebrity and drugs. Its protagonist, Shadow Moon is an ex-con who becomes bodyguard and travelling partner to Mr. Wednesday, a conman but in reality one of the older gods, on a cross-country mission to gather his forces in preparation to battle the new deities.

ABC ORDERS 'TOAST'

SCOTT FOLEY SITCOM PILOT
ABC has, meanwhile, ordered a pilot for multicamera TV comedy series TOAST coming from Shonda Rhimes and written by one of her fave actors Scott Foley but I'm not sure yet if he will star in it as well. The hybrid sitcom revolves around engaged couple Max and Paige who, over their wedding rehearsal dinner, have their eclectic family and friends give toasts recalling anecdotes about the couple — but flashbacks reveal that the toasts don’t always get it right, as we watch the true story of their complicated, funny and relatable road to marriage.

Now, do I have a visual treat for you! Exquisitely interesting character posters have been released for all the major heroes from epic action PRIDE & PREJUDICE & ZOMBIES which puts a delightful spin on Jane Austen's story finally making it bearable to watch :) These new posters include a rather stellar cast of the movie among others Douglas Booth as Mr. Bingley, Sam Riley as Mr. Darcy, Suki Waterhouse as Kitty Bennet, Jack Huston as Mr. Wickham, Lena Headey as Lady Catherine De Bourgh, Matt Smith as Mr. Collins and Lily James in the lead role of Elizabeth Bennet. Charles Dance also appears in the movie!

Based on Seth Grahame Smith's novel, and ready to bring the 'sorry stricken' AKA Austenian zombies to the big screens February 5th, PRIDE & PREJUDICE & ZOMBIES  sees a mysterious plague fallen upon 19th century England, so the land is overrun with the undead and feisty heroine Elizabeth Bennet is a master of martial arts and weaponry. Casting aside personal and social prejudices, Elizabeth and Mr. Darcy must unite on the blood-soaked battlefield to rid the country of the zombie menace and discover their true love for one another.

Disney is planning a movie saga on young MERLIN and the latest info is that they have hired LORD OF THE RINGS and HOBBIT's Philippa Boyens to pen THE MERLIN SAGA! Based on more than ten of T.A. Barron's novels which were published from 1996 till 2011 following a boy who washes ashore in ancient Wales, with no recollection of who he is, as he becomes determined to learn the truth about his magical powers. As you know, Colin Morgan gave a masterful portrayal of the young wizard in BBC's MERLIN TV series.
