Adaptation of Ian McEwan book and set in England in 1962 it follows Florence (Ronan), one half of two young lovers, in the touching story of how their unexpressed misunderstandings and fears shape the rest of their lives. It is a tender story that shows how the entire course of a life can be changed – by a gesture not made or a word not spoken. Epic mini series' THE HOLLOW CROWN's Dominic Cooke is having his directorial movie debut.

In TV waters, young Olivia Dejonge will play the female lead in Shekhar Kapur's and TNT's hip historical musical series WILL, the wild story of young William Shakespeare (Laurie Davidson) and his arrival onto the punk rock theater scene that was 16th century London – the seductive, violent world where his raw talent faced rioting audiences, religious fanatics and raucous side-shows. It’s described as the hot, contemporary, dangerous version of Shakespeare’s life, played to a modern soundtrack, exposing all his recklessness, lustful temptations and brilliance. Dejonge will play WILL's love interest.

Now, I don't know about you, but HOLLYWOOD SPY's most anticipated movie this year is definitely epic fantasy WARCRAFT and it just got an exciting new TV spot! Hitting theatres June 10th and starring Travis Fimmel as warrior Anduin Lothar, Ben Foster as wizard Medivh, Paula Patton as Orc Garona, Dominic Cooper as King Llane, Toby Kebbell, Robert Kazinsky and Daniel Wu, the visually breathtaking big screen adaptation of legendary Blizzard Entertainment video game, set in the magical land of Azeroth in the middle of the battle between the Horde and the Alliance, is directed by Duncan Jones! The special effects are so cutting edge that the post production took record breaking 20 months! The orcs are done by motion capture and have their own dialect developed specially for the movie.

While we're waiting for Michael Fassbender ASSASSIN'S CREED, another video game movie adaptation will arrive from Oscar nominated director Tomasz Baginski and the producers of THE MUMMY! Based on Andrzej Sapkowski's THE LAST WISH novels and short stories, epic fantasy movie THE WITCHER will follow Geralt the witcher,  a monster hunter with superhuman abilities. He is a creature suspended between two worlds - the human and the magical! It is planned as the beginning of a possible series of movies with the premiere set for 2017.

Speaking of video games adaptations, the biggest one to arrive to us next year, the lavishly epic WARCRAFT: THE BEGINNING has released the spectacular, absolutely mind blowing first trailer half an hour ago and you can check it out below! Epic pleasures for you today (with the news coming from CBS that in January 2017 they will launch new STAR TREK TV series!) starting with Universal's announcement that they have slightly changed the title of their latest video game adaptation: WARCRAFT: THE BEGINNING has also gotten a new poster ahead of the trailer release this Friday showing main characters Orgrim (Robert Kazinsky) and Anduin Lothar (Travis Fimmel) split by the Dragon Sword! Obviously viewed as the first in the franchise of films, it will open in cinemas next summer set in the mystical epic world of Azeroth! 'WAR & PEACE' EPIC TV SERIES

But probably the biggest epic treat today is the lavish and expensive looking first trailer for BBC historical series WAR AND PEACE along with a new poster (an unpleasantly bizarre one glamorising death instead of focusing on the tragedy of war, obviously since it was made for the US audience)! The trailer looks as impressive as its star studded cast is: James Norton, Jim Broadbent, Gillian Anderson, Jack Lowden, Greta Scacchi, Rebecca Front, Stephen Rea, Aneurin Barnard, Brian Cox, Lily James, Paul Dano are all the members of the huge ensemble cast. Following five aristocratic families the epic six episode series is set in the 1869 French invasion of Mother Russia, and will, something tells me, air in UK probably around Christmas, with Lifetime, History and A&E airing it next year around the world.
