Here's another period set series for us! 'Deadline' reports that HBO and the producers of SONS OF ANARCHY are making LAWRENCE IN ARABIA series based on Scott Anderson's bestseller Lawrence In Arabia: War, Deceit, Imperial Folly And The Making Of The Modern Middle East! It will be chronicling the adventure of T.E. Lawrence, David Hogarth, William Yale, and Rudolph McGovern as they dangerously navigate the burgeoning Arab Revolt in the Middle East in the years leading up to World War I. A few years ago, there were talks of turning LAWRENCE OF ARABIA into series but we haven't heard anything about it later on.

To cheer up the start of the week, here's the funky first teaser trailer for this Christmas' animated movie SING! Matthew McConaughey is Buster Moon, a koala whose once-bustling theatre is on the skids and who comes up with a plan to revive it: by holding a singing contest that’s open to everyone and boasts a $100,000 prize. Naturally, it draws the talented, the not-as-talented and the William Hungs of the animal kingdom. Among the top contestants are a crooning, conning mouse (Seth MacFarlane), a teenage pachyderm with stage fright (Tori Kelly), a wiped-out sow (Reese Witherspoon) with a Duggar-like brood of piglets, a wanted gorilla (Taron Egerton) looking to escape his family’s felonious past and a punk-rock porcupine (Scarlett Johansson) trying to break free from an overbearing boyfriend. Although tons of new animated movies await us in the fresh new 2016, definitely the most adorable one could be SING which will bring singing animals into theatres December 21st just in time for Christmas! Today you can check out the first photos of the main characters who will get their voices from Matthew McConaughey, Reese Witherspoon, Seth MacFarlane, Scarlett Johansson, John C. Reilly, Taron Egerton and Tori Kelly, in a musical comedy about finding the shining star that lives inside all of us. The movie will feature more than 85 hit pop songs!

SINGING KOALAS, OVERTAXED PIGS AND TIMID ELEPHANTS
Set in a world like ours but entirely inhabited by animals, SING stars Buster Moon (Matthew McConaughey), a dapper Koala who presides over a once-grand theatre that has fallen on hard times. Buster is an eternal optimist, okay, maybe a bit of a scoundrel, who loves his theatre above all and will do anything to preserve it. Now facing the crumbling of his life's ambition, he has one final chance to restore his fading jewel to its former glory by producing the world's greatest singing competition. Five lead contestants emerge: A mouse (Seth MacFarlane) who croons as smoothly as he cons, a timid teenage elephant (Tori Kelly) with an enormous case of stage fright, an overtaxed mother pig (Reese Witherspoon) run ragged tending a litter of 25 piglets, a young gangster gorilla (Taron Egerton) looking to break free of his family's felonies, and a punk-rock porcupine (Scarlett Johansson) struggling to shed her arrogant boyfriend and go solo. The latest star to join NBC's new epic fantasy series to be directed by incredible visual genius Tarsem Singh EMERALD CITY is Joely Richardson in the role of Glinda! 

Vincent D’Onofrio is set to play the mighty Wizard, while newcomer Adria Ajorna is Dorothy Gale, the 20-year-old who is swept up by a tornado and transported to the mythical Oz. Her K9 police dog find themselves in another world, one far removed from our own — a mystical land of competing kingdoms, lethal warriors, dark magic and a battle for supremacy. Oliver Jackson Cohen will play the lead male role, Ana Ularu is the Wicked Witch, alongside Jordan Loughran, Gerran Howell and Mido Hamada.

Taron Egerton plays hapless British ski jumper EDDIE THE EAGLE who became a media sensation when he entered the 1988 Winter Olympics as the first representative from Great Britain in the Olympic category and came in last in both ski jump events. Hugh Jackman plays a ski expert who helped him train for the Olympics!

In TV news, 'Daily Mail' has published first photos from the lavish sets of ITV's upcoming new historical series VICTORIA showing Jenna Coleman as the British monarch in her royal gown and massive crown and Rufus Sewell as her prime minister Lord Melbourne. The eight episode epic saga will follow VICTORIA's early life from her ascension to the throne at the tender age of 18 through to her courtship and marriage to Prince Albert!

You can also get thrills from the second trailer and a new poster for THE FINEST HOURS action drama out this January with Chris Pine in the lead role. In February of 1952, one of the worst storms to ever hit the East Coast struck New England, damaging an oil tanker off the coast of Cape Cod and literally ripping it in half. On a small lifeboat faced with frigid temperatures and 70-foot high waves, four members of the Coast Guard set out to rescue the more than 30 stranded sailors trapped aboard the rapidly-sinking vessel. Eric Bana, Ben Foster, Holliday Grainger, Graham McTavish and Cassey Affleck are also in the star studded cast!
